The Kohlers came to visit and as always the Tiny Overlord really enjoyed it. She remembers her grandparents now and talks about them in between visits. She still sometimes needs some time to warm up to them, but she definitely knows who they are.
She loves getting to spend time with GG and Papa Bob. Two more people to pay attention, play with, read books to her - what's not to love? And this time, she got to swim in another Big Pool! The excitement was palpable. I honestly don't know who had more fun, Summer or Papa Bob.
We all made some peach cobbler. We measured out the ingredients, and the Overlord dumped them into a bowl and stirred. It was tasty!
The ladies all went clothes shopping at Babies R Us at a big end of summer clearance sale. The clothes we bought were all for next summer. The pants are huge on her now, of course, but she can wear the shirts already. I enjoyed the shopping, but the Overlord thought the pool was much better.
We went to Jump for Joey, where they have a bunch of bouncy houses set up inside. It's great for exercise and fun any time the weather is too hot, cold or rainy to play outside.
Small surprise that she wore herself out. She had a great time and we did too.
