Today we all watched the very last launch of the Space Shuttle. I can't express my anger and frustration that Summer will be growing up while our county has no manned space program AND no plans to implement one. As someone who applied to become an astronaut (I was disqualified because of my eyesight) this seems so near sighted.
You can be anything you want to be, little one. Except an astronaut.
